PORTSMOUTH, N.H., March 8 -Sea View Technologies of Exeter, NH and Granite Coast Technologies of Portsmouth, NH announced they have joined forces to provide their OEM and CEM clients with a total inventory excess and shortage solution that will cover the entire product lifecycle.
The announcement comes on the heels of three years of incredible growth for both companies.
With the acquisition, Granite Coast Technologies will become a subsidiary of Sea View Technologies. However, both companies will continue to operate with the same personnel in place. Drew Page will remain the president and CEO of Granite Coast and Tom Conneen will continue as COO, managing its operations.
"Both companies have achieved tremendous success and there is absolutely no way I want to tamper with that," said Roland Brewer, CEO of Sea View Technologies. "This really is a case of one plus one equaling three, with both companies benefiting from the other's expertise."
Sea View deals mainly with excess manufacturing inventory, specializing in raw materials such as semi-conductors. Granite Coast operates on the other end of the spectrum, dealing mainly with end-of-life (EOL) inventory and specializing in finished goods, PC parts and electronics. With complementary services, the partnership will help both companies continue to grow in the electronic manufacturing industry.

In the next few months, Granite Coast and Sea View will consolidate their operations into Sea View's 64,000 sq. ft. facility in Exeter, NH, which boasts a state-of-the-art, 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse.
