Arup Lays Foundations with Extensity(R) Performance Management Solution

     invests 300,000 pounds in Extensity MPC to improve its forecasting

    ATLANTA, April 10 -Extensity(R) (formerly Geac), the financial performance management company that helps finance leaders leverage the power of trusted and finance-centric data, has signed a 300,000-pound contract with the global firm of planners, designers, engineers and business consultants, Arup. Following an extensive market evaluation, Extensity's MPC performance management software was selected to support Arup's key business requirements for Project Forecasting and Business Planning.

    David Whittleton, Group Commercial Director for Arup, says: "The new Extensity MPC solution will provide us with an improved business forecasting and planning tool to support engineering projects and will help us to model scenarios on a global basis."

    Arup has committed to 1,000 users, with an option to increase license seats over the next 12 months. The contract for MPC will provide Arup with extensive analysis, planning and budgeting capabilities. Arup selected MPC based on its planning functionality and its ability to support Arup's ongoing business needs.
