LOS ANGELES, Sept. 7 -LegalZoom.com, the nation's number one online self-help legal document service, today announced the promotion of Frank Monestere, a former captain in the U.S. Army Special Forces, broadly experienced in operational management and strategic business planning, to the position of president.
Monestere joined LegalZoom.com in September 2002 filling the role of chief operating officer. During this time, he built an operational infrastructure essential to the growth of LegalZoom.com to ensure quality work and customer service while the number of employees went from 10 employees to more than 100 within four years.
In his current position as president, Monestere is responsible for implementing the company strategy, creating and determining new roles and departments and launching new products.
Brian Lee, co-founder, was named managing director and will continue to oversee the creative and tactical direction of the company and secure strategic partnerships important to the continued growth of LegalZoom.com.

Prior to joining LegalZoom.com, Monestere served as a management consultant with Greencastle Consulting. He used his substantial experience in designing and implementing business strategies and large-scale program management for former clients Comcast Communications and Time Warner Cable.
Monestere holds a B.S. in International Relations from the United States Military Academy at West Point and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
