ST. PETERS, Mo., Sept. 26 - MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. (NYSE: WFR) today provided an update on the status of its facility in Pasadena, Texas, which was threatened by Hurricane Rita.
The company reported that its employees in the Pasadena area are safe and that business resumption activities had begun on Sunday. The facility itself sustained no major damage from the hurricane. Prior to the hurricane, MEMC had safely evacuated employees from this facility.
