LOS ANGELES, Sept. 14 -MOBIFORM Software Ltd., a leader in XML-based graphics, today announced Aurora, its new XAML Designer for WinFX. The Aurora XAML Designer for WinFX is a design tool for the new Windows Presentation Foundation, which brings rich graphics, media, documents, and application user interface together for designing, building, and delivering superior user experiences on Windows Vista.

Aurora can be used as a standalone application; it works seamlessly in Visual Studio 2005 or can be used as a plug-in for Microsoft .NET Framework- based applications requiring XAML authoring capabilities. The extensive plug- in architecture will be of great interest to many software developers and component vendors. Using Aurora will allow companies to reduce the time to market for their applications while decreasing their development costs.

"Why use multiple languages in the user interface when you don't have to," says Ron DeSerranno, CEO of MOBIFORM Software. "With XAML, there is no need to spend additional money and time on learning various software programs. We are excited about our strategic relationship with Microsoft and working with leading-edge companies to deploy this technology and our software. We've already seen global interest in this technology and many companies who are planning software releases for next year are already developing on the WinFX and XAML platform."

The development community is creating a lot of buzz around XAML with endless discussions on how it compares to what has historically been used for UI development. Glen Sollors, Director of Sales and Marketing at MOBIFORM, states, "Developers and designers are energized about Aurora and Microsoft's next generation technology. We exhibited at Microsoft TechEd 2005 in Orlando, Florida and WinHEC in Seattle. Upon explanation of our software and the technology behind it, programmers were really impressed and anxious to start working with it. Some people were in disbelief that it could compete with the many file formats that we actively use today. We at MOBIFORM know first hand that it will."

"We are impressed with the progress MOBIFORM has made on its Aurora XAML design tool," said Forest Key, group product manager of the .NET Developer Tools Division at Microsoft Corp. "Their team has done a tremendous job of building a robust solution that can be used by developers and designers to build the superior user experiences that will be possible with Windows Vista and the Windows Presentation Foundation. Aurora is a professional tool that can help designers develop content in a format that can be used by developers building applications compatible with Windows Vista, and thus reduce the complexity normally associated with UI design and development."

MOBIFORM Software Ltd. is focused on XML-based graphic solutions. MOBIFORM's Aurora gives developers and designers alike the ability to easily build XAML applications and web sites today without having to manually code the markup. Written on top of Microsoft's new graphical subsystem, Windows Presentation Foundation (previously code-named "Avalon"), Aurora allows designers to create the robust and compelling graphics, animations and user interfaces. Aurora now delivers 2D and 3D documents, animation, fixed and flow format documents, custom controls and more.
