LOS ANGELES and CAROL STREAM, Ill., Aug. 17 -SFW, LLC, an emerging leader in developing and delivering critical facilities infrastructure management tools and services, was recognized as a Technology Enabler on August 11 at the 8th annual Start magazine Technology & Business (T&B) Awards ceremony sponsored by IBM. Start T&B Awards recognize end-user companies and their suppliers for their visions in implementing technology to solve business challenges.
SFW customer PMX Industries was named a T&B winner in the Metal Fabrication category. As a major manufacturer of copper and copper alloy strip, PMX needed better control over compliance requirements, security and safety assets, machines, and personnel. PMX addressed these critical issues by using SFW Accendo(TM), a web-based mapping platform, SFW FM, the company's facility management module, and SFW Controller, its security, safety and emergency preparedness module. The Accendo platform and two modules provide graphical solutions for critical information and visibility into any asset at PMX.
