Textonomy(TM) SiteScreen enables advertisers to select controversial content types that they would wish to exclude from their campaigns. By working in conjunction with the ad server, SiteScreen ensures that a client's ad inventory can be blocked from appearing on a site where such content is present.
SiteScreen identifies controversial content in such genres as Alcohol, Drugs, Extreme sites (politics, race, religion), Gambling, Nudity, Filesharing, Adult (primarily sexual), Tobacco & Weapons.
The service is currently available in eleven languages including English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish & Turkish.

Textonomy(TM) SiteScreen was devised by leading linguist and one of the world's foremost authorities on language, Dr. David Crystal and is a bi-product of Crystal Semantics patented semantic targeting technology. The product is designed to interact with all current ad serving technologies in detecting the presence of controversial content on a page before an ad is served. If such content is recognized, SiteScreen will direct the ad server as to the severity of the content. The ad server can then chose to display the ad or not in accordance with the preset conditions agreed with the client at the time of booking the ad. The process can be applied to any form of IAB approved ad media and has applications in display advertising, the delivery of sponsored listing advertising, affiliate marketing or any other form of online advertising.
