Ditech Media Processing and Border Services Expertise Key to Advancing

     Next-Generation IMS Carrier Architectures

    MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 16 /-/ -- Ditech Networks (Nasdaq: DITC), a leader in the development of voice processing solutions for communications networks, announced today that it has joined the IMS Forum, an association recognized for its leadership in IMS interoperability for applications and services. Ditech is also announcing that they will be a sponsor of the first IMS Plugfest(TM) event scheduled for January 15-19, 2007 at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab in Durham, N.H. By joining the IMS Forum, Ditech Networks will assist in advancing the adoption and deployment of media processing technologies within the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network architecture. The members of the IMS Forum will benefit from Ditech's experience with carrier network voice processing solutions for improving voice quality delivered to subscribers.
