CHICAGO, Feb. 9 -fastmobile, a leader in mobile integrated messaging and content solutions, today announced their worldwide agreement with California Internet giant Yahoo!. Through this relationship, fastmobile will bring the rich, multimedia features enabled by their mobile Instant Communications Platform to select Yahoo! mobile services.
The first product delivered to Yahoo! under the agreement is a mobile multimedia version of Yahoo!'s popular Instant Messaging (IM) application, Yahoo!(R) Messenger. The application is part of the Yahoo! Go mobile service announced at the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This fastmobile-powered Yahoo! Messenger application delivers many exciting feature enhancements to mobile IM. Included in its advanced features are the ability to send voice IM's or camera-phone photos within an active conversation. The application also replicates the rich look and feel of the PC-based Yahoo! Messenger service.
