"Ethics Inc. has developed unique learning approaches that bring the values, personality and brand assets of a company to life in highly creative and powerful ways," said Dov Seidman, chairman and CEO of LRN. LRN customers will be able to reach more people in more unique ways through a variety of media, including CD-ROM, streaming video, live training and corporate ethics events.
Ethics Inc. Founder Steve Cohen, a veteran and pioneer in innovative learning and business communications programs with more than 10 years experience in ethics education, joins LRN as its director of creative learning experiences. His Ethics Inc. colleagues add further depth, with diverse backgrounds and work experience in learning design, video and television production and technology.
"LRN is a recognized leader in our industry," said Cohen. "They've worked with some of the most respected organizations in the world, and I am excited to be joining with them to make an even greater impact on companies' education efforts. Together, we can engage employees in even more relevant and novel ways to embrace corporate values and lawful and ethical conduct."
Ethics Inc. developed its reputation for creative learning experiences through its work with companies such as Lockheed Martin, Altria, Raytheon, Sony Corporation, MCI, Eaton Corporation and U.S. Foodservice. Its work with U.S. Foodservice on a custom ethics learning program, called the "Ethics Diner," exemplifies the Ethics Inc. approach of using high-quality video and production and multiple mediums to engage the imaginations of employees. In the late '90s, Steve Cohen was credited for initiating a new learning approach in the ethics industry through the development of the "Ethics Challenge" board game for Lockheed Martin, an initiative recognized by the Defense Industry Initiative as a gold standard for ethics programs and featured by CNN, The Wall Street Journal and other major news outlets as an innovation in the field.
