AMES, Iowa, Jan. 28 // -- Palisade Systems, a leading provider of Data Loss Prevention Products, announced today the appointment of Monty Holloway to the position of Vice President of Sales and Channels. Holloway will be responsible for expanding Palisade Systems' sales and channels programs.

Holloway brings to Palisade Systems a proven track record of building and managing sales departments for network security and technology companies. He has been innovative in creating channel programs and rapidly increasing revenues through these programs. As Vice President of Sales and co-founder of Software Medium, a network security reseller, Holloway was responsible for building the infrastructure, team, and programs to grow revenues to over $15m in the first 36 months in business. Holloway was the original architect of two specific flagship programs, Variable Invoice Program (VIP) and Virtual Professional Services (VPS), at Software Medium which directly contributed to over 45% of annual revenues each year. In May 2006 Holloway joined Arrow Electronics, one of the largest distributors in North America, as Strategic Account Manager for the software division where he managed the McAfee line, and helped develop the loyalty-based program called McAfee Acceleration Program (MAP). This program was instrumental in making valuable resources inside Arrow Software available to the vast McAfee partner base.
Prior to joining Palisade Systems, Holloway was the Vice President of North America Sales for Astrum / FIDC dba Defendware, for which he developed a new sales and channel model and identified new manufacturers to add to the model. Palisade Systems, Vericept, eEye, Secure Computing, Kaspersky Labs, ESET, and St. Bernard Systems were all added to the new sales model in the first 60 days of his tenure, and immediate results were seen particularly with Palisade Systems.
