Tracey Delio, M.A., CCC-SLP has provided speech and language services to toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children on Long Island for 15 years and has worked extensively with other professionals on interdisciplinary teams.
"From an early age I knew my calling would be working with and touching the lives of children," says the author. "It's through these children that I've found my voice as a writer."
Her areas of interest include motor speech disorders, sensory integration disorders, early language development and PDD/Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has also worked with Applied Behavior Analysis teams to facilitate speech and language development in the autistic population. Tracey is a Certified PROMPT Instructor and teaches workshops throughout the United States.
In support of children, Tracey has partnered with three children's charities: Autism Speaks, VH1 Save the Music and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from "The Secret Adventures of Louie V" will be donated to these charities.
Kit Grady is a children's illustrator from Southern Pines, North Carolina. "The Secret Adventures of Louie V" is her sixth book. Grady has a passion for bright colors, expressive animals and loves creating children's books.
