The Switching Solutions group offers Tekelec 9000 DSS, an integrated voice and data switching solutions; Tekelec 8000 Wireless Media Gateway, a mobile solution for handling circuit switched TDM traffic, as well as packet-based voice traffic; Tekelec 7000 C5,which delivers voice switching for both circuit and packet-based networks; Tekelec 700 Line Access Gateway a central office line replacement platform used in conjunction with the Tekelec 7000 C5 and the Tekelec 9000 DSS; and Tekelec 6000 voice over internet protocol application Server provides IP-based business services, such as IP Centrex, hosted private branch exchange, and business trunking, in addition to residential broadband.
The Communications Software Solutions group offers integrated application solutions, a suite of business-oriented applications; Service Creation System; and Sentinel, a data acquisition product capturing data from signaling networks.
The IEX Contact Center group develops, markets, and sells software-based solutions for call centers.
The company offers its products and services to telecommunications carriers, network service providers, and contact center operators.
