ABC Radio Networks produces and distributes various programs and formats, including ABC News Radio and other news network programming, syndicated talk and music programs, ABC Sports programming, and 24-hour music formats to approximately 4,800 affiliated radio stations.
It also produces Radio Disney, and a 24-hour music and talk format.
Parks and Resorts segment owns and operates the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and the Disneyland Resort in California.
Walt Disney World Resort includes various theme parks; resort hotels; a retail, dining, and entertainment complex; a sports complex; conference centers; campgrounds; golf courses; water parks; and other recreational facilities.
Disneyland Resort includes two theme parks, Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure; three resort hotels; and Downtown Disney.
Studio Entertainment segment produces and acquires live-action and animated motion pictures for distribution to the theatrical, home video, and television markets.
It also produces stage plays and musical recordings.
Consumer Products segment licenses Walt Disney characters and other intellectual property to manufacturers, retailers, show promoters, and publishers worldwide.
The company also engages in direct retail distribution through the Disney Stores; and publishing of books and magazines in the United States and Europe.
In addition, it produces computer software products for the entertainment market, as well as film, video, and computer software products for the educational marketplace.
